Klaxons released their award winning debut Myths Of The Near Future in 2007. They spent last year working on the follow up.
This week Klaxon Jamie Reynolds told the NME that theyve finished a second album but theyve been asked to re-record part of it by their label Universal.
"Because we've made a really dense, psychedelic record. We've made a really heavy record and it isn't the right thing for us, I understand and know that. First and foremost we're a pop band. I haven't thought about that for a long time, and now it's in the forefront of my mind."
He also reported they're now writing new songs for the album and should have the whole thing wrapped up in about four weeks.
