After hightailing it from Goonellebah, we found solice at a nearby Ballina motel. Frenchie, 4 peg Dave, Samson and myself then went out and got a meal and had a few drinks at some bars. We ended up coming across the only open bar in Ballina on a Sunday night at 11. It must have only been open a couple weeks and was not completely lit up yet, so we sipped fine liqueur in candle lit darkness with phil collins blasting;
Got up the next morning hoping to ride some naughty flat rails we found the previous night, only to be disappointed by even more rain. We decided to drive onwards to Mullumbimby and ride the park. This turned out to be a smart decision as the sun shone for a few hours. We got a few clips each and I got super stoked on not having any brakes to contend with.
After a while, we started getting a little street hungry. We packed up and drove to Tweed Heads where we parked and rode around that area in search of activities!
