I have been liaising with council officials about the new concept design plans for Creekwood Skatepark, which will be positioned next to Meridan Plains High School, even closer to me than Caloundra!



Turns out I was a little late, the community consultation process has almost ended, so the above design (as far as I'm aware) will receive implementation and completion within the next 18 months.

I would be happy with any new additional park, so this comes at a surprise and happily so. If anyone else is interested in this process, there is a council meeting at Kawana Community Centre on the 15th July which I will definitely be attending. Hopefully we can provide influence into any further additions on this design as well as any future designs, wouldn't that be cool!
