The first spot I wanted to do was in the main street of Noosa, a thriving, bustling town, which even late at night, had security which stopped us from getting this done (If you look hard you can see the gap from the top of the stairs and over the wooden blockade in the bottom right of the photo);
Decided that this spot was best left for an even later night mission another time. Anyway, with excitement still bursting at the seams, we headed on to our next destination. This loading dock/raz spot is so much fun, we all got a few clips and photos. I also witnessed 4 peg Dave over smith this round raz which was the craziest shit I have seen in a while;
After finishing up in Noosa, we trekked onwards back to the coast to give the infamous Alex Heads gap rail a try. We set up about midnight and didn't finish until 2 am;
After a thousand tries, I can say that, essentially, the raz was slayed... (does clipping the last 3 or 4 stairs negate the success of a gnarly rail!);
The cops pulled over to see what we were doing and didn't have any problem with us, which was quite amazing. I love nice cops. So after my battery died and my ankles felt like trash, we called it a night. I'd just like to thank 4 peg Dave for sticking around and helping out even though he had work early next morning (sorry Diane) and Duffy for taking photos.
No!
ReplyDeleteYou didn't do that Double rail at alex did you?!
It's okay dear! I'm not upset, I went to bed and passed out cause I had to wake up at 5 for work. I didn't even hear him come home until he woke me up at 3 after he had another meal hahahaha. I was stoked when I heard about the cops and that you succeeded in your quest! High Five!
