Sometimes, not very often, I listen to a song which has been created in such a way that I feel a sense of undulation, I tremble and shiver at various moments. The following song has this effect on me, I don't know why, but it just does. I urge you, if you have the time, desire or motivation, to listen to the entirety of the following song...
I can safely say that Iced Earth is easily the best music to emerge out of the hideousness which was the 90's. Whilst I'm being a sissy, sharing my feelings in such a non-masculine fashion, I have included a few other songs which give me 'that feeling'!
Bruce Springsteen: Born to Run
Fleetwood Mac: I'm so Afraid (Live 97')
Iced Earth: Jekyll and Hyde
Fall of Serenity: Blood Starts Running
The Cure: Friday I'm in Love
Led Zeppelin: Babe I'm gonna Leave You
Dolly Parton: Jolene
The Moody Blues: Nights In White Satin
Ozzy Osbourne: Diary of a Madman
She & Him: Why Do You Let Me Stay Here
Supertramp: Goodbye Stranger
Tame Impala: Alter Ego
There, I'm done! It's Melbourne for me tomorrow, looking forward to a few days riding street in a fresh new city. Hopefully I don't choke on this raz tang jam...
